From mixing and stretching the dough to choosing the perfect toppings, Alain will guide you step-by-step through the process. Cook along from your own kitchen, ask questions in real time, and enjoy a fun, interactive taste of Italy—no passport required.

All classes are listed in Pacific Time Zone. After registration, you will receive a link to the Zoom session we will use. Our cooking classes require a minimum of 4 participants to run.
By purchasing one spot, you are allowed one device to connect to the class, but you can have as many people in the kitchen as you’d like!
Ingredients & Preparation
Have your ingredients pre-measured and prepped before the class for a more seamless experience.
If you do not have certain ingredients, our chefs will do their best to suggest substitutions.
Pizza
Makes 1 large pizza
Dough
500 grams (about 4 cups) 00 flour or all-purpose flour
2 1/4 teaspoons (1 packet) instant/rapid rise yeast
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
10 grams (1 1/2 teaspoons) salt
300 mililiters (1 1/4 cups) warm water
Sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1-2 cloves garlic
1 9-oz can or jar of crushed tomatoes (tomatoes only, no herbs or spices)
1 teaspoon salt
Optional: Dried or fresh herbs to taste, such as basil, oregano, thyme
Toppings
Any other toppings you’d like. Examples include:
Hard vegetables like bell peppers or eggplant - pre-cooked; put on pizza before it goes in the oven
Thinly sliced onions and mushrooms - pre-cooked or raw, depending on preference; put on pizza before it goes in the oven
Sausage, steak, or other raw meat - pre-cooked; put on pizza before it goes in the oven
Prosciutto, salami or ham slices - add to pizza with 2 minutes left of baking time
Fresh basil - add after pizza is fresh out of the oven
