Join us for a delicious collaboration with The Table Less Traveled, Nick The Wine Guy, and Chessine from Kotodama Journeys!
In this virtual cooking class, you’ll immerse yourself in the vibrant flavors of Carne de Porco à Alentejana, a hearty pork & clam dish in a white wine-red pepper sauce, typical to southern Portugal. Our dear friend, Sofia, will guide you step by step from her home kitchen in Evora, while you, Nick, and Chessine cook together in real time, making this a truly special session for food lovers who want to learn, connect, and eat well.
During class, Nick will host a wine tasting of a delicious Alentejo Branco from southern Portugal.

Our cooking classes require a minimum of 8 participants to run.
By purchasing one spot, you are allowed one device to connect to the class but you can have as many people in the kitchen as you'd like!

Porco à Alentejana (Portuguese Pork & Clams)
Serves 4
200 grams (7 oz.) pork shoulder
500 grams (17 oz.) clams
8 potatoes
1 large onion
4 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon garlic paste
1 tablespoon Portuguese red bell pepper paste
1 glass white wine
Approx. 400 mililiters (3.25 fluid oz.) vegetable oil (to fry potatoes)
Approx. 100 mililiters (13.5 fluid oz.) olive oil (to sautee clams and pork)
