The Table Less Traveled started with an airline ticket. Founder Annie Sim bought a Round-the-World flight pass, hoping to experience something new and find her direction in life.

In 2014, Annie created The Table Less Traveled as a way to stand against the commoditization of travel and cuisine. Instead of adding to the well-worn tracks of tourist attractions, The Table Less Traveled invites people to try a more meaningful way to explore.

Now we are a women-powered team of 5 employees, uplifted by friends around the world who share a passion for making travel more memorable by uniting through our common language of food.
